Ingredients
2 tablespoons sodium bicarbonate (baking soda not baking powder)
1 tablespoon potassium bicarbonate (available at most compounding pharmacies)
Instructions
1. Mix well, place mixture in an airtight jar.
2. Take ½ teaspoon oral (use a syringe for pets) completely dissolved in warm water.
3. Symptoms should resolve fairly rapidly.
4. A second dosage can be taken 20-30 minutes later if symptoms have not completely
resolved. Do not repeat for 24 hours.
5. The natural antihistamine mixture can also be mixed into a paste\,
rubbed onto the skin, and left.
Half the dose for small dogs, and a quarter for toy dogs.
Also, lots of vitamin C would help too!
This is a synthetic vitamin c ( used the shorter term for quick relief and emergencies)
SODIUM ASCORBATE Powder
The Synthetic Vitamin C crystals (white powder) from the health food stores.
Small to Large Canine:
Add approx. 2 teaspoons in meals and milk drinks twice to three times daily or dilute in a little liquid an oral syringe.
Feline or kitten:
Add approx. 1 teaspoon in meals and milk drinks twice to three times daily or dilute in a little liquid an oral syringe.
Puppy or Toy Dog
: Add approx. 1 teaspoon in meals and milk drinks twice to three times a day or dilute in a little liquid an oral syringe.
