PARVOVIRUS dosing with Vitamin C

What to do now?

If your dog has signs of PARVOVIRUS or Diagnosed.
Go to the health food store and buy a packet of Vitamin C powder,   (or phone around to see what store has this particular powder)

"SODIUM ASCORBATE" powder  (white crystals)
The Synthetic Vitamin C crystals (white powder)   * only use this short-term for emergencies.
Small to Large Canine:  Add approx. 4 teaspoons in 1 cup of liquid (warm water or warm broth) -  oral dose side of the mouth  (small sips until 5ml is taken) every 2-3 hours  (4 - 6 times a day )
Puppy or Toy Dog:  Add approx. 2 teaspoons in 1 cup of (warm water or warm broth) -some liquid - oral dose side of mouth   (small sips until 2ml is taken) repeat every 2-3 hours  ( 4 - 6 times a day)
Make up a new batch as needed or whilst waiting for HAMPL ParvoVirus Treatment Set arrives.

DIARRHEA
To stop loose stools, oral dose slippery elm powder diluted in some hot water mix well, let cool, and oral syringe four times a day.
~ Puppy or toy dog 
Sprinkle some powder (around 1/4 teaspoon) can add herbs to this as well, then add boiled hot water about 20ml, mix well. Allow cooling.  Can oral syringe side of mouth small sips at a time until 1-3ml is taken. Can also add a few teaspoons or so to every meal given, until ulcers, inflammations or diarrhea stops.  * If the mixture gets a bit gluggy or thick as it often does, water it down again with a little cold filtered water.
~ Small to Medium size dog:
Sprinkle some powder (around 1/2 teaspoon) can add herbs to this as well, then add boiled hot water 1/4 cup, mix well. Allow cooling.  Can oral syringe side of mouth small sips at a time until approx. 5ml is taken. Can also add a couple or more teaspoons or so to every meal given, until ulcers, inflammations or diarrhea stops.   If the mixture gets a bit gluggy or thick as it often does, water it down again with a little cold filtered water.

~ Med to large dog:***Sprinkle powder (approx. 1/2 teaspoon) in 1/4 a cup of boiled hot water, stir well.  When cool can add a little apple juice or coconut milk for taste. Then oral syringe (without the needle) inside of the mouth or in some food. (i.e approx. 10-20ml dogs, horse  or  for  farm animal approx 30-50ml)  * If mixture gets too thick or gluggy as if often does continue to add more fluids to the mixture to keep a runny mixture.* Repeat oral dosing every hour (more frequent or less frequent) depending on how "acute" scouring "diarrhea". Usually, healing is seen within 10 hours. Complete repair may take 3 to 4 days. If ulcers, it could be given once or twice a day for a month.

* Can also add herbs to the slippery elm mix when making it up. When you run out of the mix, if needed, make up a new batch.5ml - Black Seed Oil - Magella

The Synergy Company, Pure Radiance C, Powder or Liposomal Vitamin C liquid
**In 50ml water  Dose orally - 3 - 4 times daily

PROTECTION (other pets)Vitamin C can also be given to other pets for protection of virus as well.  E.g  2 teaspoon dissolve in a cup of filtered water and add a tablespoon in water and meals.
ONGOING recovery and protection
Continue vitamin C. We highly recommend using this type of vitamin C a more potent than others called

DOSAGE:
Small to Large Canine:  Add approx. 2-3 powder from capsules in meals or/and milk drinks twice daily.
Puppy or Toy Dog:   Add approx.1-2 powder from capsules in meals or /and milk drinks twice daily.OR
If you can't quite afford the natural form   SODIUM ASCORBATE POWDER
